A PICNIC WITH FRIENDS



Saturday,

A perfectly overcast day with a warm breeze, great music, faraway friends, and a random assortment of picnic food.  Being able to hula hoop with the women I learned with.  Coming together after weeks, months, or even years of being apart.  Laughter.  Nature.  Stories.  Warmth.

Friends, I've missed you.

    It sounds wonderful! Those moments are so precious. And your photos are so great - love the one of the dog particularly.

    don't you just love days like that? my goodness, i think you are my favorite photographer now--what i wouldn't give to have you shoot my daughter (she is having her senior pics done next month:)

Easter Weekend

Hello! Happy mid-week to you. This is the roll of photos we shot over our Easter weekend , and oh what a wonderful weekend it was. It was so nice to have family here to visit - even if the weather was cooler than we anticipated! We visited the redwoods in Felton, ate vegetarian burritos, went to the epic shoreside in Montara, and the brewing company in Half Moon Bay. Our hearts are full and our home is feeling quite empty now ;) As a side note, I've found a renewed love with film. This is a post for another time, but it bears mentioning here! There has been much on my mind re: photography, and hopefully this will be the space I can share that. For the curious, all the above were shot on a Nikon FM10 with Fuji Superia 400 speed film.

mum + bub skincare review + giveaway!

Happy Wednesday to all of you!  It's my favorite day of the week. Today, I spent a lazy day at home with the girls and one thing we all enjoy doing when we get a little stir crazy is to hop in a bubble bath together and relax for a bit. I've always bathed with my girls, its an experience I know I'll cherish looking back on forever. When the wonderful people at aden + anais asked if I would review their new mum + bub skincare line, I immediately responded with a resounding "YES!"
