NOTEWORTHY MAMAS: {SWEET FINE DAY}

One blog I've been diggin' on for a while now is Jenna Park's SweetFineDay.  She is a designer and art director living in NYC and has the cutest two daughters in the whole world.  Something me and Erick noticed a while ago was how amazingly she color corrected her photos.

 All the photos she posts look so natural, the color and tones are true to life, (which, I think many photographers this day and age just bump the contrast and saturation for no reason) and they look like they are honest, snippets and memories from her life.  So, go ahead and take a look.  Make sure you pop on over to Jenna's blog and say hi for me.  Promise you won't be disappointed.

Easter Weekend

Hello! Happy mid-week to you. This is the roll of photos we shot over our Easter weekend , and oh what a wonderful weekend it was. It was so nice to have family here to visit - even if the weather was cooler than we anticipated! We visited the redwoods in Felton, ate vegetarian burritos, went to the epic shoreside in Montara, and the brewing company in Half Moon Bay. Our hearts are full and our home is feeling quite empty now ;) As a side note, I've found a renewed love with film. This is a post for another time, but it bears mentioning here! There has been much on my mind re: photography, and hopefully this will be the space I can share that. For the curious, all the above were shot on a Nikon FM10 with Fuji Superia 400 speed film.

mum + bub skincare review + giveaway!

Happy Wednesday to all of you!  It's my favorite day of the week. Today, I spent a lazy day at home with the girls and one thing we all enjoy doing when we get a little stir crazy is to hop in a bubble bath together and relax for a bit. I've always bathed with my girls, its an experience I know I'll cherish looking back on forever.
