DINNER FOR TWO

My sadness over Erick working on our family day turned into a spontaneous quick bite to eat.  I feel sheepish for complaining so much today... he just goes and does amazing things like this.  Goodness!

I love this man more than anything.

  1. Beautiful. I love that he takes photos of you and that he likes having his photo taken too:)

Spontaneous is always the best. xx

  2. I love it too! (Though by the looks I usually give him on camera, he would say that I didn't!) It's funny having two photographers in the house. Our poor baby, she will either love or hate the camera when she's old enough to realize what's going on... haha. :) x

  8. Awe, this made me smile. I think I'm often hard on my man too sometimes. I can't wait until the weather here is good enough to eat on a patio! I was still wearing a winter sweater last week!

Week 27 Update

Hello fellow internet peoples.  Decided to give a HD video update for the beginning of my third trimester.  (WE SO EXCITED!)  It was a ton of fun to make, this time we were at home in Chicago.  Erick had a bunch of lighting equipment after all the interviews he did with the chicago school councils, so before he had to ship them back we took full advantage ;)  I'm learning more about codec and h.264 and prores 422 and although it makes absolutely no sense to me, maybe it will be useful knowledge in the future.  What do I know? It was obviously a very gesture laden, emotional, 10 minute interview.  I hope you all enjoy it.  It really is longer than I expected but instead of completely chopping it up, I decided to leave it how it is.  It's pure, natural, pregnant-y goodness of brain farts, odd humor, and searching for the right words.  If you make it to the end, remind me to give you a gold star or something.  I'll do it. ** A ...

bump : week 23

The sub-zero weather has kept us indoors, but it hasn't kept us from having the most amount of fun possible.  I've been enjoying hot cups of tea served with teaspoons of sugar and condensed milk, curling up with my favorite blanket and enjoying the tap-tap, nudge-nudge of the littlest De La Rosa.  Though I find myself playing catch up yet again (I'm 24 weeks!) I'm not complaining in the least bit.  I've had this little family of mine all to myself for a full four days with no work, no emails, no agenda and no pressure.   Ahhhhh... happy winter celebration, little baby. PS- did you know Erick finally launched his website ?  It's up, it's responsive, and it's gorgeous. I'm a proud muma bear.
