"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Sofia: I'm beginning to fear what will happen once you realize the ice-cream truck doesn't stop in the winter.
Alba: That serious, soulful gaze. I could look into those eyes all day. And smooch those lips. And...

As always, joining in with the lovely Jodi.

    1. They really are similar. I almost wish I could peek and see how Alba will look when she's Sof's age. I keep picturing them at 2 and 4, running around and playing together... sigh!

bump : week 23

The sub-zero weather has kept us indoors, but it hasn't kept us from having the most amount of fun possible.  I've been enjoying hot cups of tea served with teaspoons of sugar and condensed milk, curling up with my favorite blanket and enjoying the tap-tap, nudge-nudge of the littlest De La Rosa.  Though I find myself playing catch up yet again (I'm 24 weeks!) I'm not complaining in the least bit.  I've had this little family of mine all to myself for a full four days with no work, no emails, no agenda and no pressure.   Ahhhhh... happy winter celebration, little baby. PS- did you know Erick finally launched his website ?  It's up, it's responsive, and it's gorgeous. I'm a proud muma bear. "A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013." SOFIA:  You are my goofy child, my prankster.  You are the spitting image of your Papa, though every now and again I find some piece of myself in you and it makes me pause.  You are my lover, and you are my fighter.  You greet me in the morning with sweet, breathy kisses that only the mouth of a little girl can give.  I hope you will look back on this blog and find strength when you're feeling kicked-down, confidence when you're doubting your abilities, and daily reminders of how much love we have for you, for our home, for our marriage, for this little life we've made.  I am thankful for every day I get to be your mum, and you are certainly becoming the most beautiful soul I could have hoped to raise. This photo was a stand-out favorite, but you can find more from our day  here . TAKING PART IN THE 52 PORTRAIT SERIES  |  STARTED BY: CHE AND FIDEL
