Sofia: The snow is here and it is most definitely sticking!  Today we took you out to the Children's Farm in Orland Park, where we were quickly reminded that they were closed for the winter.  Luckily your Papa and I were able to get a few snaps in before we got yelled at.  How could they possibly kick out a little girl and her sled? ;)

      so glad to hear - I was thinking of you all. knitting is still just a thought in my mind, i've been researching different fabrics and trying to figure out the "gear" i need, but i'm really hoping this is something i can knock out in the next few months. i'm staying hopeful x

    Oh! You guys still have snow. We have mud, although it was snowing a bit earlier. I don't know HOW they could kick her out! :)

    i've loved seeing little scenes from your day today. that sled is really cute and sofia riding on it? it's almost too much ♥

    We went to the children's farm near us today, but there wasn't snow there! I love this photo, Sofia is a very lucky girl xxx

    that picture is simply stunning, i joined in late to this party, its my first week this week, and i am using it as an excuse to turn my camera off auto for the first time ever and get inspired...you beautiful lady are bookmarked as 'INSPIRATION'! your blog and pictures are very beautiful, you have such a talent, oh and congratulations with the growing bump, what an exciting time to find your blog xxxx

Easter Weekend

Hello! Happy mid-week to you. This is the roll of photos we shot over our Easter weekend , and oh what a wonderful weekend it was. It was so nice to have family here to visit - even if the weather was cooler than we anticipated! We visited the redwoods in Felton, ate vegetarian burritos, went to the epic shoreside in Montara, and the brewing company in Half Moon Bay. Our hearts are full and our home is feeling quite empty now ;) As a side note, I've found a renewed love with film. This is a post for another time, but it bears mentioning here! There has been much on my mind re: photography, and hopefully this will be the space I can share that. For the curious, all the above were shot on a Nikon FM10 with Fuji Superia 400 speed film.

mum + bub skincare review + giveaway!

Happy Wednesday to all of you!  It's my favorite day of the week. Today, I spent a lazy day at home with the girls and one thing we all enjoy doing when we get a little stir crazy is to hop in a bubble bath together and relax for a bit. I've always bathed with my girls, its an experience I know I'll cherish looking back on forever.
