bump : week 29

The sun had barely decided to shine its light through our windows this week and besides being completely bummed out, we raced against the clock - already a week behind in our series since returning home from Mexico.  Armed with the last twenty minutes of light and that bed we all practically live in, we made the most of trying to put together a few usable portraits.  I'm consistently amazed at what Erick is able to pull off, even in such a short amount of time!  He has been such a huge support to me always but I think it's been most noticeable on this crazy journey that we call "the growing of baby number two".  Oh, how this pregnancy has been similar, yet so incredibly different all at the same time... boy? The anticipation is bubbling!

And let's just get one more thing sorted:  I am tired.

Winter is drawing to a close, and while I've enjoyed her beauty and the quiet moments spent at home, I am beyond ready to welcome the longer days, sweet-smelling blossoms, and open windows.  Right now, I'm slowly planning for the last few home renovations before baby arrives and jotting down my grocery list for the week.

I'm thinking a warm and hearty soup recipe could do the trick.

bump : week 23

The sub-zero weather has kept us indoors, but it hasn't kept us from having the most amount of fun possible.  I've been enjoying hot cups of tea served with teaspoons of sugar and condensed milk, curling up with my favorite blanket and enjoying the tap-tap, nudge-nudge of the littlest De La Rosa.  Though I find myself playing catch up yet again (I'm 24 weeks!) I'm not complaining in the least bit.  I've had this little family of mine all to myself for a full four days with no work, no emails, no agenda and no pressure.   Ahhhhh... happy winter celebration, little baby. PS- did you know Erick finally launched his website ?  It's up, it's responsive, and it's gorgeous. I'm a proud muma bear.
