Sofia: Taking advantage of the soft, winter sunlight... and unfortunately not feeling too great today. 

Here we are friends, the first week out of many more to come with Project 52.  I've been looking forward to joining in ever since Jodi started hers last year, so if you haven't had the chance to pop on over there yet, lots of inspirational people are all taking this journey together -- it's the perfect way to find a new favorite blog!

    I am so excited to see more from this series from you, I think I am going to join in and do it too! Seems like such a great way to capture those sweet moments you never want to forget and a great way to see how much your child has grown over a years time!

bump : week 23

The sub-zero weather has kept us indoors, but it hasn't kept us from having the most amount of fun possible.  I've been enjoying hot cups of tea served with teaspoons of sugar and condensed milk, curling up with my favorite blanket and enjoying the tap-tap, nudge-nudge of the littlest De La Rosa.  Though I find myself playing catch up yet again (I'm 24 weeks!) "A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013." SOFIA:  You are my goofy child, my prankster.  You are the spitting image of your Papa, though every now and again I find some piece of myself in you and it makes me pause.  You are my lover, and you are my fighter.  You greet me in the morning with sweet, breathy kisses that only the mouth of a little girl can give.  I hope you will look back on this blog and find strength when you're feeling kicked-down, confidence when you're doubting your abilities, and daily reminders of how much love we have for you, for our home, for our marriage, for this little life we've made.  I am thankful for every day I get to be your mum, and you are certainly becoming the most beautiful soul I could have hoped to raise.
