bump : week 23














The sub-zero weather has kept us indoors, but it hasn't kept us from having the most amount of fun possible.  I've been enjoying hot cups of tea served with teaspoons of sugar and condensed milk, curling up with my favorite blanket and enjoying the tap-tap, nudge-nudge of the littlest De La Rosa.  Though I find myself playing catch up yet again (I'm 24 weeks!) I'm not complaining in the least bit.  I've had this little family of mine all to myself for a full four days with no work, no emails, no agenda and no pressure.  Ahhhhh... happy winter celebration, little baby.

PS- did you know Erick finally launched his website?  It's up, it's responsive, and it's gorgeous.

I'm a proud muma bear.

    Can I just say?.. This "bump" series is the best. Baby is already a part of the family and I adore seeing that in these photos. And you and Soph... oh man, you two are precious.

      He is quite the photographer, and his true talent lies in dealing with someone like me in front of the lens... (I can get a bit snippy when I'm overtired!) I admit, it's been really strange sitting at a computer color-correcting photos of myself, let alone SEEING myself so much on this blog. I'm not used to it at all! ;)

    Those photos are seriously spectacular. I'm pretty jealous that I don't have someone to capture some photos of my baby belly like that! Such a beautiful baby belly it is too. I'm going to be searching the cupboard for some condensed milk straight after this, so delicious in tea and I haven't had it for such a long time!

    Beautiful photos, gorgeous bump, and Sophia looks so happy! I love how little ones try to understand (or do understand!) - my two year old niece, whenever I see her, always pokes my belly and says, "Baby?" then tries to lift my shirt up to find him.

    Time is flying! But it's terrible that winter is finally here. Motivation: lacking.

Easter Weekend

Hello! Happy mid-week to you. This is the roll of photos we shot over our Easter weekend , and oh what a wonderful weekend it was. It was so nice to have family here to visit - even if the weather was cooler than we anticipated! We visited the redwoods in Felton, ate vegetarian burritos, went to the epic shoreside in Montara, and the brewing company in Half Moon Bay. Our hearts are full and our home is feeling quite empty now ;) As a side note, I've found a renewed love with film. This is a post for another time, but it bears mentioning here! mum + bub skincare review + giveaway!

Happy Wednesday to all of you!  It's my favorite day of the week. Today, I spent a lazy day at home with the girls and one thing we all enjoy doing when we get a little stir crazy is to hop in a bubble bath together and relax for a bit. I've always bathed with my girls, its an experience I know I'll cherish looking back on forever.
